Kate Halligan
Associate Attorney

Kate Halligan is an associate attorney at Herrig, Vogt & Hensley, LLP and is committed to providing excellent legal services to clients in a variety of general civil litigation, including trust and estate matters.  She is a proponent of clear and consistent communication, earnest compassion, and spirited advocacy to obtain positive resolutions for clients.

Ms. Halligan earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and English from St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY and her Juris Doctor Degree from Vermont Law School in South Royalton, VT.

Ms. Halligan worked as an environmental and land use associate attorney in Vermont prior to joining Herrig, Vogt & Hensley.  During law school, she clerked for the Environmental Division of the Vermont Superior Court, and she is intimately familiar with the logistics and processes behind the bench. Additionally, she sought internship opportunities to help equip herself with ample practical legal experience during her law school career, specifically at the Family Resource Center in Truckee, CA and the Law Offices of Fred Peet in South Burlington, VT.

Ms. Halligan is a member of the State Bar of California and the State Bar of Vermont.
